Gwynedd Mercy ABSN May 2019

Hey everyone! Has anyone applied to Gwynedd Mercy's May 2019 cohort for their ABSN program? I was wondering what everyone's GPA was. I have a bachelors in exercise science and graduated with a 3.4 GPA and my prereq GPA so far is a 3.1 not including nutrition and organic biochemistry. I feel Luke that is not enough to get in but I am still hopeful!

I actually applied for the Fall 2019 start term on September 05, 2018 and I received a call of acceptance into the program on September 24, 2018. I thought that the decision was quite fast as I was told it normally takes 30-90 days for an admission's decision, but I guess I was lucky. My cum. GPA as of right now is 3.44 (Will be graduating with a Bachelors in Psychology and my prerequisite GPA as of right now is 3.47 (I still have to take Microbiology, Organic Biochemistry, and A&P 2). To complement my application, I attached a resume, personal statement and a letter of recommendation. Even though these items were not required, I added it anyway just to increase my chances of being accepted.

UPDATE: I have changed my start term date to May 2019.

hey i saw that you were accepted! Congrats! Me too. I was applying for Jan 2019 but I have to finish taking Biochem and they said I can start in May 2019. Are you going to orientation Oct 30?

Hi! Congrats on getting accepted! I will be starting May 2019 at the Bensalem campus. I still have to take Microbio, A&P 2, and Biochem this Spring 2019. I think the orientation on October 30th is for students that have been accepted for the January 2019 start date.

Its weird because they told me to come but I'm going to talk to my admission rep to see If i need to go. I still need to complete Biochem but the schools biochem is filled up so I need to find something. If you know of something let me know!

Yeah, my counselor (Sharon Summers) has not informed me of orientation. Also I am taking Biochem (CHEM 118) at Community College of Philadelphia in the Spring.

is it online? Im from jersey so i rather take a biochem class online

No, Biochem is in-class at CCP. You might want to talk to your counselor and ask of online Biochem courses as I am sure she knows of some.

Hello, I was accepted to the Philadelphia campus. Students get accepted to different campuses for the same terms?
