GWU BSN to DNP-FNP Fall 2018

Published

Hi! Has anyone applied to George Washington University's BSN to DNP FNP program for Fall 2018 submission? If so, have you gotten an admissions decision yet?

Hey I applied and got accepted. I'm assuming I'll see you all virtually. I'm nervous and excited to start the DNP program.

No scholarship money just money from applying to FAFSA...

Grants or loans?

I just got word I was accepted in the program today! Congrats everyone! Do you know if there's a facebook page just yet?

Has anyone had any luck reaching someone in the admission's department? I have some questions about courses and possible transfer credit, but I cant seem to ever reach anyone via the telephone, and email has not provided anything as well.

No, I just called this morning. Has anyone heard anything about registering for classes, orientation, and when classes start?

Has anyone been able to reach anyone from admissions? They never answe

Hey everyone! I've been accepted to the BSN to MSN program for fnp. I've paid my deposit, but I haven't heard anything else. I feel out of the loop and was wondering if anyone has heard anything? I know at some point we need to do background checks and drug tests. Anyone have info on that and the orientation?

Congratulations Kstout!! After paying my deposit, I received an email with my student ID. I have already registered for fall classes. There was a live video chat about a month ago that provided more information. They told us that we would not be assigned an advisor until summer. I have not heard anything about background checks. We were also told that orientation would be online later in the summer. There is also a Facebook page for students in the GW graduate nursing program.

Good luck!

Is there a Facebook page for our cohort? When is the deposit due?

I'm starting fall 2018 too. I haven't been able to get in touch with my program associate to ask questions. Are you going full time? Working? Is there a FB Page

I'll be working full time and doing the program part time! I was able to get in contact with my program associate today.
