I want to start a discussion for the class entering in the fall 2015 at Gwinnett Tech. I would like to hear feedback, thoughts, or ideas from other students applying for the fall of 2015. Also any info from students currently in the program. I have completed all my pre reqs. My GPA is 3.67. I did not take the Kaplan yet. I just started studying for the Kaplan.

Hey everyone, check your banner Web account under "check admission/application status". It's the second link on the page. Then click fall 2015. What does it say next to your program and major? Mine says nu 13 nursing program and nursing for my major. Before it said health care cert for program and pre nursing for major. Also, look if there is a date next to program director approval. Mine shows as of January 28th, 2015. That is acceptance! I have all the books syllabus, outlines and am ready to study with anyone who wants to. I completed half of the first semester but felt I could do better so im coming back to be more prepared. Trust me I when I say you should start reading now. I have the reading schedule if anyone needs it. The beginning of the program is going to be the most demanding with the amount of reading, taking on 2 completely different subjects both with exams, papers, check offs, and other assignments all going on at the same time. The 1st 2 weeks there are almost 30 chapters to read and pharmacology exams are comprehensive! It is a balancing act like no other. Please let me know what you guys have and best wishes this year!!! Wow that stinks. Are you sure? I will be in building 900 studying around 4 pm everyday. Let me know if you would like to meet.

Congrats to all who were accepted into the program. I just got my letter today. Unfortunately I didn't make it in this round.

One of my friends also got denied. If your gpa is below 3.5 they will advise you retake classes and try to make As bc they take the highest grade and replace the lower one.

I think my Kaplan score was too low. Does anyone know what was the minimum Kaplan score?

I think either 75 like last year, or 70.

I just got home and got my letter. I'm excited to have a physical letter of acceptance....it doesn't feel authentic until then. Congratulations to everyone you made it!

I made it! So happy. Physical letter in hand. So sad for those that didn't make it. I know several smart top notch students didn't get in. I am trying to find out their scores and pass it along.

Hey, I also got accepted into the program! I am soo excited and would love to get together to study and look over the materials that you saved from last semester! Getting a head start would be awesome ;-)
