Hey guys I have to take my kaplan exam next week thursday! yeaaaa freaking out! how was the exam for those that already took it?

mg100, that's what I want to know... I just assumed that we would get emails before letters in the mail... but we just learned that we can't assume anything anymore...

to take my mind off of this because I am two seconds from going insane, I am going to do some retail therapy!!!!!

I agree, and I feel like the more I dwell on it, the more disappointed I will be if I don't get accepted...

I had nothing in the mail today. I suppose I'll have to wait another day unless they send out emails before they leave today. At this point, I doubt it! :doh:

I am one of the stalkers! Just found time to create a login and register. This is my second year trying to get in at GTC. I took some classes over again and this year my application says Program Director's Approval! I've been looking at what y'all have been writing to see if anyone got the letter today. I guess it's still early in the day. I won't be home from work till around 5. Hopefully this is it!

Nothing in mail....did somebody say they were "starting" to mail letters, like not all of them will go out on the same day? That could be bad....lol

Hey you guys! Mine changed this afternoon to nursing degree. still don't think it means anything anyway! LOL They have us all tangled up don't they...?

MG, I did all my pre reqs at GTC except Micro and Micro Lab which I took over at Dunwoody campus of GPC... I love GTC and my friends are there

Also,... I don't think that it matters whether or not we attend either, most of the new nurses I've spoken to say they got jobs with the hospitals they did clinicals at or even the externships.. As long as it's an accredited program we are fine. As far as tuition difference, GTC is a few hundred cheaper, and since I pay out of pocket, that makes a huge difference to me. I also live around the corner from the school so that helps too!.

All toes are crossed right now!!! and other body parts! :) OH and I had nothing in the mail today either...

I heard some schools send out acceptance letters first followed by rejection letters a couple of days later...

Hey everyone, I too have been following this thread but had not had the time to register. I am glad to see that I am not the only one who feels like they are on a rollercoaster ride! I had a date next to Program Director's Approval and I checked my transcript just a short time ago and it had been changed to reflect the associates degree in nursing. However, I did not get a letter in the mail today. I would think that they would send them all out on the same day. Don't know whether to get excited or not. The wait is killing me!

If they sent the letters out already, why not just send emails out too? what would be the point of us receiving the emails after we get the letters in the mail? what's their reason for waiting on the emails if they made their final decisions already... I'm a little frustrated...

So I just checked and my program just changed to Nursing. So yall should check - I guess they are slowly changing them - I was probably last because I am probably number 60 on the list - ha ha - if I am on the list at all that is.....

also, ladies and some gentlemen... i'm not sure if i'm going to get in trouble for this and they might remove this post...but here it goes.

i am walking the susan g komen 3day in october...yes, i'm going to walk the 60 miles. so i am asking my fellow nursing students for support. as nurses, we are going to be dealing with cancer day in and day out. some of us, like myself deal with it on a daily basis already. i know that if i could single handedly keep anyone else from going through the last 2 years of what my mom and 2 cousins have been dealing with i would do anything....because it doesn't just effect them, it effects everyone.

we would love for anyone who wants to join our team... the ooh la la...ta tahs!! but if you don't want to join us, please donate some money. it is a great cause, we all know that. i would love the support...i also have to raise a minimum of $2300.00 just to be able to walk. but i would love to exceed that goal too! here is the website address below, once you click and it opens then you just click on the "donate to kellie" button....
