Hey guys I have to take my kaplan exam next week thursday! :( yeaaaa freaking out! how was the exam for those that already took it?

He thought the math was really easy. His overall score was 78. He was very disappointed. He just said really review physiology in depth because they are precise with the questions.

I take my test next Tuesday. I'm going thru my A&P lecture notebook and happy to know I can use a calculator on the exam. If I had to bet I think 78 would be the average for this test...its know to be tricky.

That's what I said. I told him not to worry. I would just do my best. I think everyone is scared of course because we are competing. But we all need to breathe and relax. I want to do my best. And stressing is not going to help me, that's why even though I am hearing science is tough, still staying optimistic. We will do great! We will be classmates in August.

What part is confusing you?

its a particular prt that is confusing me exactly, its just some of the readings can be difficult just even comprehend at times! whichthen makes the question difficult! I just need to practice it again!...btw for the science section, are you studying indept? for example, the cardiovascular system. Are you learning like specific arteries and vein that supply the heart muscle or in muscle contraction are you learning exactly what goes on to cause the contraction?

Is something wrong with this problem?

The physician orders codeine 60 mg and aspirin X grains. Each codeine tablet contains 15 mg of codeine. Each aspirin tablet contains 325 mg of aspirin. Which of the following should the nurse administer? (Round the number up to the nearest whole number)

A. 2 codeine tablets and 4 aspirin tablets

B. 4 codeine tablets and 3 aspirin tablets

C. 4 codeine tablets and 2 aspirin tablets

D. 3 codeine tablets and 3 aspirin tablets

AND

Why am I not getting 360? all you do is solve for X. HELP!!! lol

If X/5 + 3 = 75, then X equals ______. Answer: X = 360

15mg times 4 gives you 60mg of codeine. But I am still trying to figure out how she came up with 2 tablets for the aspirin.

subtract 3 from 75. 5 times 72 equals 360.

Thats exactly what I was doing but my calculator kept giving me 372....clearly I did something....but ok I knew how to do it but i was doing sumtin wrong!!.....buttt yeaaaaaaa the asprin is what is giving me problems there has to be an error!
