GWC LVN-RN bridge Fall 2023

Goldenwest college opened up their bridge program again after 7 years, I believe. I was just wondering if there's anyone who applied during the application period earlier this month. It's interesting to note that their selection process is by "random lottery" and not based on points as opposed to their generic ADN program.

Hi, I also applied but I was wondering if we will hear back by June 16 just like the traditional ADN program. Did anyone receive any email confirmation saying they received our application since we had to mail our application?

When did you apply and did you take all your prereqs at the coast colleges? I think the June 16th deadline only applies to the traditional 2-year program.

I applied in April. I took my sciences at Santa Ana College and the rest of my prereqs at GWC. What about you? I hope we don't have to wait too much longer.

That's awesome! Congratulations to you also! Did you already submit your acceptance letter? I feel so nervous right now and do not know what to expect since we're the first students for their bridge program (last bridge program that they had was around 7-8 years ago).

Yes I submitted my letter. I feel the same way and am glad they opened the bridge program again this year. It's a really great opportunity and believe we will do well ?

I was going to submit mine and I thought the form was completely electronic. I was typing my name and initials but it had a signature portion. Did you print yours out, handwritten signed, scanned/uploaded, and submit it via email?

I think either way works but I uploaded the pdf to Adobe Acrobat and filled out my signature electronically. After submitting they gave me an email back confirming they received it.

I guess I will do that method also since I do not have a printer LOL. Oh that's good, so they let you know right away if they received it? Or did you verify first?

@mingudid you receive an email today with an updated form? They accepted the first one I submitted. But now they want me to sign a form that is specific only to us doing the bridge program.
