Does anyone know anything about GW hosptial and the working conditions?
Did anyone every take the job at GW's ED ? If so, how is the work environment ( team oriented or on your own)? Did the internship prepare you for working there? Most importantly hows the pay (including PRN rates)?
I accepted, start on the 23rd....
However, when I spoke with the manager, she said (and don't hold me to it) after my 2 year obligation, there's in house agency that goes for $45/hr
Im PSYCHED!!!

Really, we need to hear from current employees. Anyone out there? Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. I have an ICU interview tomorrow (Friday the 16th at 11:00). I know a couple of us that are interviewing in the ED on March 8th as well. I have talked to a couple of nurses who did their new grad program in the ICU and said it was incredible. That's all the info I have so far.
