do you guys think this is a good score for the teas test?

i just finished taking my teas test for the second time and not to sure what to think about the score.

the first time i took it i got:

overall 68.6%

percentile rank-national: 65

percentile rank-program: 63

this second time i did do better

overall: 74.7%

percentile rank-national: 81

percentile rank-program: 81

this second time around i went up nearly 7-8 percent in each section except english where i only got a 63.3% (math 90.0%, reading 71.4%, and science 70.8%)

what do you guys think of my scores? none of my friends are doing this so i have no one to compare scores with lol.

its not that bad in my opinion,but it depends on what the school you are applying to requires!

Also when you took it a second time was the test pretty much the same questions? i have to retake mine again but at a different and i was wondering if its going to the same as the one at took at the first school..

it was the exact same test. and pretty sure everything was in the same order. what did you get the first time you took it?

For the Math I got a 71.6..

For the Reading I did very bad... i was soo many passages to read and little time plus it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tricky anyways I got a 63.2 :(

I got an 85.3 on the grammar thats the section i did the best

Anyway i am opting for a different school now and they require a 69 for the reading so i have to take it again on friday..i remember when i was taking it the first sch..the lady said we all had the same test but it was in a different,so thats why i wanted to know if the test was different at every school or every school has pretty much the same test just the questions are in a different order

my school is requiring at least a 58.7%(overall) to apply. but i really doubt they will accept anyone with that low of a score. your school actually told you what percentage they want for each section? lucky. like many nursing programs my school is very competitive since its one of the best around, so im nervous if i will get in or not.

did you buy the newer study guide for the teas V test? the math is just like it. the English section is completely different in my opinion.

I am actually trying to get into an accelerated LPN school..the new school i am applying to requires a low percentage for each section! If your school is requiring a 58.7 overrall you are good to go then,becaause you exceeded what they require,but if its competitive,like you said, it might be hard,because if someone got a higher number than you,although you exceeded what they re requirng they might pick the other person.Do they require GPA as well or just TEAS? If they do then you do, and your GPA is high,you might have an advantage

Yes the Math was the same..the reading was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off!

yes they say you need a 2.5 gpa but no one gets in below a 3.5 i have 3.8 but you never know

Im positive you will get in..a 3.8 with that TEAS score is good! Dont sweat it,im positive you will get in..Your GPA is good and your score it not that bad! Good Luck and Keep me updated:)
