I was, however after meeting with Financial Aid and discovering I would have to pay $2000 each month while in school, and then after school be left with $30k loan still to pay I decided against the BSN track. I may consider the ADN program, still deciding on that as it would mean a longer drive for me, and of course, reapplying.

If you don’t mind me asking did they say why you would have to pay 2000 a month ?

The program would cost about 95,000 and I had to come up with whatever was not covered by financial aid. The program would have started on Monday and I found this information out on a Friday, so not really a lot of time to apply for student loans elsewhere.

Most of the prereqs were done, there were maybe a few from Gurnick's 3rd semester that I had not completed, because they were not available at my college. But Micro, Phys, Anatomy, Chem, English, Algebra, Lifespan Development, Sociology and Psychology, and a few others were all completed prior to applying. The program would have been greater than 95k if I had not.

Is anyone else applying for the Gurnick programs? I have a question about the essay. It has to contain, the purpose for enrolling, roles and responsibilities of a nurse, integrity, and accountability of nurses, and preparation for the program.
My English teacher seriously ingrained into my head that we are not to use I, You, Me, My, or anything personal when writing essays... so I guess my question is how do you do this but still be able to clarify your purpose and preparation for the program?
Maybe I'm overthinking this?
