Visa aside, schedules vary widely. I have friends who are working nights. I have been working PRN jobs where I am working any and all hours of the day, including occasional overnight travel. I am about to start a 9-5, M-F-type of clinic job. There's no way to know what your schedule will be until you are eligible to work and looking.
I would suggest a Nurse Practitioner if you want to further your education. A Nurse Educator is another thought. There are several online programs for that. I think your path is your choice. Everyone's journey is a bit different. If you're doing a BSN bridge, it should not take two years. I've seen one online that is just two semesters. You may want to research more programs. Good luck.

Hello fab ladies!
I am enrolled in the pre requisite classes for the ADN program in my community college this summer 2015. I am 30 yrs old now.I will complete my ADN in 2017..after that I am planning to do my BSN online program. That almost will take 2 more years..so my question is. I am on the right track..because I am on a visa and only study on it..not work! Visa is not a concern for me.I just wanted some guidance and how is the work schedule for a starter nurse..with no experience?
any feedbacks are appreciated!
thanks!
