GTCC Fall 2016 Nursing Program

Just wondering if anyone is applying for the Fall 2016 Nursing program at GTCC? The deadline isn't until February, but I thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone has already applied, and how many they applied with. Any info is helpful. Thanks.

Idk? On the paper is said about paying $94 to print out all paper work we should get after April 25?

Hopefully Ms. Dalton will answer you back today! I reread my acceptance and it says about being able to upload all the papers and to pay $94 on the website, but there wasn't any site provided. So idk if they're referring to moodle or webadvisor or? I'm going to email her about that today since they weren't very specific.

Yep! Sent her two emails, left two messages and emailed the admissions director too. Absolutely nothing back. Would you please let me know if you get an email back from her?

Update- Ms. Dalton responded to my email about those forms and gave me Lori-Ann Sarmiento's email address who is the ADN coordinator and she emailed me back and said we do not need to print anything in advance and detailed instructions regarding our next steps will be provided at orientation. So we don't have to do anything else except come to orientation (I'm bringing a notebook and writing some questions down also).

Sorry for the tardy response. I did not make it😞. I applied too close to the deadline and did not have ample time to get all my stuff in. I live in Nj and the endorsement for my LPN to NC is not granted yet..still pending. I began shopping late..my fault. Hope you got in and all the others that applied 😀

Got acceptance for their pre nursing program for this summer but the crazy thing is I don't need any prerequisites or core classes, except for the nursing ones.I missed the ADN..deadline. I was told I have to wait for the next opening. Still shopping though I don't mind starting in Sept if I can find a school. The schools in Nj all seem to have 5yrs expiration on A&P s. Those are the two classes I am avoiding to completely re-take 😕

Hey all!! Can't wait to meet everyone for orientation in a few weeks!! Was wondering if anyone talked to passed students about what their schedules were like? I can only find info about the evening program

I know the bookstore has this huge bundle/package of about 7 textbooks that you can purchase for $810. But, I was wondering if we have the option to the purchase the textbooks separately at the beginning of each semester for that semester only. That we don't have to pay the entire amount at a time? Or, are we required to purchase all the textbooks as a package/bundle for the entire program in the beginning? Does anybody know? I called the bookstore several times, but no one would pick up the phone. Thanks!
