GTCC ADN: Spring 2019

Published

Hi! It might be a bit early but never too late to start. Anyone here applying for Spring 2019 term? Comment belowe and lets talk!

Thanks for the info.

Thanks! I will keep that in mind.

I applied to the 2019 spring as well with 49 points. For the fall semester you had to have 42 points or higher to get accepted, hopefully Spring will be around that number as well! Good luck to everyone

Hello fmarteshia! Great score! Good luck to you. :)

hey you guys,

have any of you received your letters yet?

No word yet. I think we have a good week or so before we hear anything. I just found out that the Spring 2019 program is soley out of the new Greensboro Union Campus. The classes start after 3pm. Semester 1 is going to be intense. Lecture, lab, clinical and pharmacology. Must pass all exams with 80%.

By the way. Where are all the applicants? Please post. We want to hear from everyone! í ½í¸Š

I'm from Stoneville

yea! Class is from Mon and Wed from 3P-730P, Lecture is from 3P-530P and either Lab or Pharm from 6P-730P and than a one day of clinical which is 6 hours. It used to be passed with an 78% but Spring 2018 was the last semester with that advantage lol...

Than we get dosage calc quizzes, that are not graded but used for extra credit on pharm exams.

Thank you for the information. I was never told the exact schedule. How does the dosage calc work for extra credit for pharm? Do you know how clinicals are assigned?

The dosage calc is used to prepare to other semesters. They do us a favor and not grade them but use it as extra credit so anything below a 70 you don't get points toward the pharm exam that is taken at the time. You can get anywhere from like 3-10 points I believe.

The clinicals are assigned at the last minute because they are competiting with uncg and ncat for spaces. You don't get to pick days or times, your assigned based on your last name and they split them.
