  1. Hey you guys! I finally checked my mail today and I got in!
  2. Can someone tell me when is orientation?
  3. Congrats to both of you! Sadly, I'm still waiting. Maybe tomorrow. I live on eastern NC so it's gonna take a bit longer. My homegirl mentioned that everyone with 43 points or higher got accepted but I'm still nervous.
  4. Has anyone heard thing? According to my friend who entered last spring. The received their letter a week after the deadline and had orientation on oct 16. I wonder if they're behind or just late?
  5. Lol hopefully this week is the week!
  6. Yea for sure! I didn't get nothing today maybe tomorrow lol Good luck!
  7. Do you know how competitive Forsyth was? I check my mailbox faithfully lol
  8. Yea no problem, I'm hoping we receive letters this week! I need my anxiety to be at ease lol.
  9. The dosage calc is used to prepare to other semesters. They do us a favor and not grade them but use it as extra credit so anything below a 70 you don't get points toward the pharm exam that is taken at the time. You can get anywhere from like 3-10 points I believe. The clinicals are assigned at the last minute because they are competiting with uncg and ncat for spaces. You don't get to pick days or times, your assigned based on your last name and they split them.
  10. yea! Class is from Mon and Wed from 3P-730P, Lecture is from 3P-530P and either Lab or Pharm from 6P-730P and than a one day of clinical which is 6 hours. It used to be passed with an 78% but Spring 2018 was the last semester with that advantage lol... Than we get dosage calc quizzes, that are not graded but used for extra credit on pharm exams.
  11. hey you guys, have any of you received your letters yet?
  12. Hi dreamchaser, from my understanding there are time were people with 33 points have accepted because people who are offered seats do not accept them and people come off the waiting list., As far as the points, I have completed all my classes with A's that gives you the max amount of points, I have also a degree with is additional 3-4 points I believe. The teas I did not so well, I just received a point for it. But like banble mentioned, dont give up!! keep trying!
  13. More than likely, I'll withdrawing just because I cannot afford not to work and the ABSN requires almost all of your time. The book for GTCC is the newer edition of Nursing: A Concept-Based Approach to Learning. I'm not sure about the pharm book. It should still be the same, unless there is a newer edition.
  14. Yea I was told the same. I was told last semester the highest was 67 and I know I should be good but there's always that fear lol just my anxiety will not let me rest till I get a decision letter lol That's awesome! I know last spring, the deadline was around the same time and decisions went out before the end of September. No, I just applied to GTCC, I'm familiar with the staff and teaching so I took my chances with one school lol. I did apply to ABSN to NCAT and WSSU. Have you heard from Forsyth?
  15. Hey Bangle, I competed my MAR as well and ended up with 62 points. I have been told me chances are good just like you but still have some fear lol did they tell you when we might receive decision letters?
