Wow! Lemonade that is strong amount of points. Based on what staff told me you are up there on high end of the points. Have no fears, just anxiety of awaiting the official news. LOL. Staff told me letters are anticipated to be mailed out on September 28th. Worst case scenario on October 12. Have you applied to other programs? I have applied at Forsyth Tech as well.
Yea I was told the same. I was told last semester the highest was 67 and I know I should be good but there's always that fear lol just my anxiety will not let me rest till I get a decision letter lol
That's awesome! I know last spring, the deadline was around the same time and decisions went out before the end of September. No, I just applied to GTCC, I'm familiar with the staff and teaching so I took my chances with one school lol. I did apply to ABSN to NCAT and WSSU.
Have you heard from Forsyth?
Lemonade,
Sounds like you have some great choices to make in your future! I'll bet you will get multiple offers! I began the application process for ABSN at NCAT too but withdrew for Spring 2019 due to cost. I have not heard back from FTCC yet. There deadline in September 20th. My points there seem to be competitive there. We must now just wait and see. Do you happen to know what Nursing text book they will be using for GTCC? The bookstore does not have any updated information for this semester. I guess the Nursing textbooks have been on back order. Sounds like they may be using a newer addition.
Hello Dreamchaser.
Try not to be discouraged. I have completed pretty much everything you can get points for including: Anat and Physio, Micro, Chem, GEN Ed, TEAS Vl, NA1 and CPR. So, I am not sure what you have completed, but focus on doing well on any of your outstanding curriculum courses this semester. If you do not get offered a seat I am sure you will be set for Fall 2019!
More than likely, I'll withdrawing just because I cannot afford not to work and the ABSN requires almost all of your time. The book for GTCC is the newer edition of Nursing: A Concept-Based Approach to Learning. I'm not sure about the pharm book. It should still be the same, unless there is a newer edition.
Hi dreamchaser,
from my understanding there are time were people with 33 points have accepted because people who are offered seats do not accept them and people come off the waiting list., As far as the points, I have completed all my classes with A's that gives you the max amount of points, I have also a degree with is additional 3-4 points I believe. The teas I did not so well, I just received a point for it. But like banble mentioned, dont give up!! keep trying!
