GSU Fall 2016

Hi! Anyone applying to GSU Fall 2016? I am planning on applying for both traditional and accelerated. Have a Psychology degree from GSU (2013), graduated Magna Cum Laude (hope that matters!). I had a 3.86 overall GPA at GSU before taking science pre-reqs. Does anyone know how they calculate their GPAs? I currently have a 3.46 at GPC.

Congrats Jac12486! I too am starting the traditional program in the fall! We do have orientation that is mandatory on August 18 @ 9 am. I also applied to GSU ADN program but I gave that up for GSU BSN program.

Awesome thank you Bria! Given how slow they've been doing everything, I figured there would be a delay in getting the packet

Wow with those stats I'm surprised you even got wait listed!

Jac12486 There shouldn't too much of a delay since classes are out for the summer. I think I got my letter a little over a week after I recieved my acceptance email.

Hi Jac12486, congrats on your acceptance!!! I have also been accepted into the Traditional program. My acceptance package came in pretty quickly, maybe a week tops. Like Bria said we have an orientation in August, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone :) Congrats again!

I want to make sure I have this right - if we are in the traditional program, we do not have to complete the background check/drug screen and buy equipment by first semester, we have until second semester? Is that correct?

I believe that is correct Jac12486.
