Hi! Anyone applying to GSU Fall 2016? I am planning on applying for both traditional and accelerated. Have a Psychology degree from GSU (2013), graduated Magna Cum Laude (hope that matters!). I had a 3.86 overall GPA at GSU before taking science pre-reqs. Does anyone know how they calculate their GPAs? I currently have a 3.46 at GPC.
Have a 86.7 on TEAS. 97th percentile on both.
Have 2 LOR being written.

Hey everyone-- I've been following this thread for a month now, but thought I'd finally jump in as I'm dying of anticipation! I applied to both ACE and Traditional and haven't heard anything. I called yesterday, and someone told me I would get an email that day-- I didn't. So I called again today, and Hugh Grant told me they should send my acceptance/denial this week. I wonder how many others are still waiting? This is so frustrating!
And in case anyone else is still following stats during this brutal wait, here are mine:
GPA: 3.85
Science GPA: 3.62
TEAS: 94
non-healthcare volunteering only
Hope everyone still waiting is hanging in there, and congrats to the accepts!
Hey guys! I just met with Hugh Grant.. he said they are still waiting to hear back from those who got accepted so they can continue to send out notices (denials/acceptances/wait list).. good news is he said I'm not on the denial list, and if I were to be wait listed I would be pretty high up on the list. I also found out that my stats are a lot higher than I thought they were:
3.74 Program GPA
3.8 Science
Thanks, Bernie! Yours look great, too! I applied late, and will say that while my numbers might look decent, my overall profile may not be that competitive-- for ACE anyway.
As it turns out, I was accepted to the Traditional track today via email this afternoon, but did not hear anything about ACE. I'm assuming that if it's true that they email for acceptance and snail-mail for denials, I didn't get into ACE (and will get a denial letter soon). I'm happy I got into Traditional, but ultimately pretty devastated I didn't get into ACE as I'm a nontraditional student (old!) and would like to start a family soonish, so I had really wanted to get my BSN under my belt ASAP.
However this might be good news for those of you still waiting to hear about Traditional track/those on the wait list; I need to do a little soul-searching on it, but odds are good I will decline the offer. I think it's worth it to me to apply for ACE again for Spring '17. I just can't imagine twiddling my thumbs for the first year or two in the Traditional program, considering all the classes I've already taken for ACE.
And if there's anyone out there who got acceptances to both programs but on different days...please give me hope! :)
Good luck to those still waiting!!
