Hi,
Has anyone else here been accepted to the CNL Program at GRU for Fall 2015. Just trying to connect with some fellow students!
Does anyone know how much roughly per semester? I've looked up tuition and fees but I have no idea how much to estimate for books and supplies. My husband and I are trying to get our finances together and figure how much of a student loan I will need. I filled out FAFSA several weeks ago but I haven't heard anything. I'm new to the whole FAFSA/student loan thing so some tips or advice would be much appreciated.
Does anyone know if you have to have an interview to be admitted to the program? I sent a message to GRU asking when I could anticipate hearing back from them and that my status had been 'ready for review' for over a month. She responded back that the Admissions Committee is making the final selections for interviews this week. If selected for interview, you will receive an email invitation. If not, you will receive a letter in the mail.
I guess if I don't get an interview then I am not admitted?
I've taken out a few loans for school before and my understanding is that in the event that you overestimate the actual need for your tuition/supplies/etc. that you can immediately pay back the loan money you don't need so as to not accrue interest on the total amount previously taken, if I am not mistaken.
Unfortunately it said Admissions decision: notification by mail, but I haven't had an interview.
The background story is that all of my forms were turned in on time, except a transcript in which the school sent the transcript on time but under a persons name close to mine but still different. I spent weeks back & forth speaking to gru admissions, the school sending the transcript, and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) trying to figure out why they had not receive the document. All to find out the other school made a huge mistake. By the time I was able to get it correct, (EDIT OF NAME) said that they were just about finish sending invitations for interviews. It hurt me badly.
My status hasn't changed yet, today it still says 'ready for review' . I haven't received a letter, and I haven't received a request for interview either.
I think this means I was not accepted since this is the final week they were notifying folks for interviews. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said that all admitted students would have an interview.

Just found out my interview is on March 31st in Augusta! I'm very much looking forward to this next step. Anyone else scheduled for that day?
