Good luck to everyone who applied! I wanted to start a thread for all of us waiting to hear back. I applied to Grossmont and I know I'm nervous so I thought we can all be nervous together! Also, I thought we could share how many points we think we got and other school we might have applied to. Well, I'm pretty sure we have until April before we find out so until then I'll be patiently waiting. Love to hear from ya' all!

I got in too. We had to reply by April 10th. My friend w/ 75 points got in but her friend w/ 72 points didn't. there's waves so there's still hope

Anyone hear from the second round of invites yet?

Nope. I haven't heard anything. I have more points than some people I know who got in. It's so weird. Oh Well I guess they choose based on other things and not just on "points".

SWC did the same I had 73 and then alternates with 70 got accepted before I did but it took one month to get into the program on the alternate list. I got in april 5th they sent the letters March 8th I believe. Don't stress your going to get in.

I haven't heard anything yet. I'm staying positive, but I'm also being realistic. I've been trying to do more volunteer hours and spruce up my application if I need to re apply. Also, I'm looking into City just in case Grossmont doesn't work out. Really, I look at it as a hurdle. I'll jump over it and then eventually reach my goals! :cool:

I like you're style ;) city has a good program as well. I haven't heard anything from Grossmont either but It's all good! It will all work out!

It will happen! Positive thoughts what I did was post papers around my house that said you will get into nursing school, so anytime I was having negative thoughts or stressing about not getting in I would see them and it would erase the negative thoughts! Just stay positive that's my best advice! where have you applied to City and Grossmont only or swc?

I got into city so I'm totally happy with that! I will be starting in August! I think we are all wondering what's happening with Grossmont since it doesn't seem like anyone as heard anything since the initial invitations were sent out. So maybe they all accepted? I do know that city and sec only have one application period a year so start looking into when that is. :)

I know SWC was my first choice because its so close to me and they only accept once a year so I was praying really hard to get in. Grossmont they haven't sent anything out since the first round maybe if someone who got accepted could let us know when they had to respond by? I know SWC was March 23rd and a week later the letters for alternatives went out. We start in August so exciting I accepted SwC spot but I have friends trying to get into grossmont so I follow this thread.
