Grossmont College Nursing Spring 2024 Cohort

Hey everyone,

I wanted to start this thread to welcome the Grossmont nursing applicants for Spring 2024. I will also be applying to City College nursing program as a back-up. I've been looking forward to this day for years and applications open up next month. I  cant wait to hear from you guys. Please feel free to reply with your thoughts, comments, questions, points, TEAS, anything.

Just got the email that I was placed on the alternate list! Grateful but still praying I'll be able to get acceptance ??♥️ does anyone know how many alternates they take?

Thank you so much! If they accepted everything then I had 90 points!

Hey y'all,

I just received my provisional acceptance letter yesterday. Congrats to everyone who received the acceptance too! Hoping for the others to get theirs soon. Anyways, I'm interested in joining or creating a facebook group. ?

Wishing you luck that you'll get your acceptance letter soon! I'm not entirely sure yet how many alternates they take but the deadline to accept our seat is September 15. So, I'm assuming that if a spot opens up, you'll most likely be contacted after the 15th. Again, best of luck to you ☺️☺️

@Ali1126 I was also placed on the alternate list. I believe that I had 89 points. When I called the office they said that they take 20 students on the alternate list, she said that with the last cohort they ended up offering admission to all 20! I am trying to stay positive. Good luck to you! Hopefully we both get in!

Oh that is encouraging. Thank you for that info. I am also on the alternate list with 85 points I think.
