I have not passed boards x3. Valley has been my review choice. Can anyone suggest anything else. Please help.

I studied valley review notes, Morgan and Mikhail, as well as questions on a disk by Nagelhout ( excuse my spelling if it is wrong), and R&R board review question and answer book. Just when I thought I had everything covered in Valley, I would go back and do the questions on the sections I studied in valley (eg. respiratory) in the R&R book, and realized I knew jack s--t, and would go back and study the sections in Morgan and Mikhail. Many of my board question answers were in Morgan and Mikhail. Make sure that you have a thorough understanding of essential topics such as cardiac, respiratory, renal, pharmacology etc. Also, you should not review from one source only. I hope this helps!

Wow! I am sorry to hear that. I am taking my boards this upcoming Tuesday. I did attend the Valley Review and have been completely through their entire materials as well as supplementing their information with Morgan and Mikhail. I have also been using the Nagelhout Nurse Anesthesia Review book as well as the MGH.
I am quite anxious as my turn to take the BIG quiz approaches. There is SO much information! I will just give it my best shot.
Best of luck to you!!

I've been studying Valley, 1/28 is my day for the little quizzie. I'm scared to death, b/c there's no way I can study anymore if I have to retake this exam. I'm ready to be done!!!
Took the BIG quiz today. Good luck to you. I'm glad it's over and hope I don't have to take it again!!!

Hey Sprout,
I know you'd rather not think about it, but was it easier or harder than you could have imagined? Was it like the NCLEX in that you didn't have a clue how you did when you came out? Did you feel adequately prepared for the exam? When do you get your results? Sorry to bother you about. I was just curious. Thanks.

Sorry to tell you, it was the worst test of my life. Took 90 questions. I did feel adequately prepared, as best I could. I was fine when I came out but the 3 hour ride home stressed me as time passed. Results take 2-4 weeks.
I will be in AGONY awaiting my results.....oh my gosh!!!!

If you felt adequately prepared, you probably did all right! If you'd had no idea where to start on some questions, THAT might be a bad sign. But it doesn't sound like that happened.
I know you can't relax until you hear, but know that I for one have full confidence that you passed and are soon to be a CRNA!
I take the little quiz tomorrow at 12:30. Any and all prayers and good wishes welcome! I'm scared to death...
