greta had that "nurse" on that took care of anna nicole today. does anyone know if she is a RN or LPN? her knowledge and CPR skills were lacking .. is she really a nurse ?? iif she is she sure dosen't know much... i was shocked at some of her statements... also she wasn't there to be a nurse .. do we stop helping people after hours? greta never asked her what kind of nurse she is.

The term 'nurse' has always been used so loosely that veterinarian technicians, CNAs, medical assistants, and caregivers call themselves nurses without the legal authority to do so. I might be incorrect, but I suspect that Anna Nicole's so-called 'nurse' was really an unlicensed caregiver.

My grandmother liked to tell everyone that she was a private duty nurse. However, she never earned an RN or LPN license, or even attended nursing school. She possessed a CNA certification from 1952.

One of my elderly patients tells everyone, including her attending physician, that she is a retired nurse. However, I questioned her further, and she admitted that she never even went to nursing school. She basically assisted the doctor with procedures in the office.

I believe she was also from the "Bahama's" so who knows what it takes to be a nurse over there......could be totally different than here.....
