Welcome. There is much to be learned just by reading posts from this website. There are many of us wishing and/or trying to get into CRNA school.

This seems to be one of the best hangouts for any kind of nursing.

Welcome!!! You will love allnurses...I am still in the process of going to nursing school this fall, but know I want to be a CRNA. You said you're from Hattiesburg...My hubby is from Slidell LA...(kind of close) You might want to check out LSU Health Sciences Center, and Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge. Both have a ton of info on requirements listed on their websites to get into their programs. I am hoping to be applying in a few years. Good Luck!!!

AAAHHH Hattiesburg, MS! Where tomorow is yesterday. Home of the alma mater of Jimmy Buffet! You guys got it put back together yet? Been there many times, good town! Welcome and good luck.

Hey Ray!

Yeah, we've got H'burg put back together. It wasn't nearly as damaged as the coast. Did go a few weeks without power though. And in September! >100 degrees on a daily basis with what felt like 100% humidity!

And yes, USM is the Alma Mater of Jimmy Buffet. My Alma Mater, too!

Welcome to allnurses, from a fellow Mississippian!

I believe UAB has a CRNA program now where you can attend didactic in Birmingham x 1 year, then finish up the latter/clinical year at UMC in Jackson. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that. :)
