I am applying to Greenville Tech's nursing program in May! I only have 122 points right now but will be retaking the TEAS to get higher. If anyone has any tips that would be helpful!

Luckily they did, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew since I read that comment last year. I hope they let people know, but just in case attach everything LOL

Just to let everyone know, the August cohort has been canceled , just october and January cohorts ?

----------------------- told me that the August cancellation is due to clinicals in nursing homes and covid-19 . Unfortunately she said the size of the two remaining cohorts will not be increased

Just FYI, in the prior application process, the lowest scores of accepted students was 122, the highest was 210. My fear is that since they have canceled a cohort, it will be even more competitive . I was told by ---------------------------- that it may be take longer to review applications ( may possibly be after August 15th to receive denial or acceptance letters ) It’s going to be a stressful Summer for me ?

This is so sad LOL It's okay, if somehow we don't get in in August, we can apply for Spring (March and May) by September! But yes, stressful for me too!

Does anyone know around what time we will receive denial/acceptance letters? I’ve emailed --------------------- weeks ago with no response.

------------------------ said it would be mid August , maybe a bit later . I hope we find out sooner because if I don’t get into October cohort, I want to take some classes in the fall towards my BSN?

What do you mean? Are there classes you are able to take towards a BSN without an ASN? I'm curious if I should do that or not LOL

If you are going on after ADN to get bachelors , you can take some courses now that are required for the program . I took nutrition last semester , sociology , abnormal psychology this semester and am planning on taking English II and another class in the fall if I don’t get in October cohort ( or if they cancel it ?)

What school are you going for you BSN online after ADN?
