  1. Hey everyone! I wanted to share some helpful information. There is a GTC nursing student association group on facebook, and if you join there are past students who are selling scrubs, books, shoes, kits, etc. Along with giving helpful tips! It's definitely worth checking out.
  2. Hey! So unfortunately that class is required to be completed before applying. That doesn't mean you couldn't try either way, but the only classes listed that are not required for applying are Micro and A&P2.
  3. That's awesome! What do you do? I'm currently working towards my HUC certificate so I can hopefully find one before we start.
  4. Just out of curiosity, do any of you of guys currently work in the hospital as a HUC, PCT, CNA, etc?
  5. Woohoo!! I start Summer 2021 and applied with 136 points. Good job everyone!
  6. I know!! I have been checking my email constantly throughout the day in case I missed it. Hopefully this week!
  7. I haven't, and I'm not really sure where we are able to get that information. Although I will say based on past forums on this site, it seems like a lot less. Apparently it is usually less during the Spring applications since it isn't a traditional school year start time. 127 points is awesome! I'm hoping we hear within the next two weeks, but we technically still have 4 weeks to go until the 8 weeks is up.
  8. I applied last semester and they let us know the ranges. There is also a link on the GTC nursing page that will show you - https://www.gvltec.edu/academics_learning/health-sciences/nursing/Nursing-Department-program-outcomes.pdf
  9. That's awesome! I applied with 136! Last semester they accepted in the range of 131 to 200(something - I don't remember the exact number). So if it's anything like that we will be good!
  10. That's okay! You will need 50 hours of volunteer time, so it depends if you are able to get that before the application deadline (Sept. 15). But I think it's always worth a shot.
  11. Hey Everyone! I haven't applied yet, as I am going to retake the TEAS, but has anyone applied yet? Is it still set for September 15th? I applied for the fall 2020, but only had 121 points, so I'll hopefully have more this time around! Good luck everyone!
  12. What do you mean? Are there classes you are able to take towards a BSN without an ASN? I'm curious if I should do that or not LOL
  13. This is so sad LOL It's okay, if somehow we don't get in in August, we can apply for Spring (March and May) by September! But yes, stressful for me too! Also, thank you so much for the update!
  14. Luckily they did, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew since I read that comment last year. I hope they let people know, but just in case attach everything LOL
  15. Just a heads up. Greenville Tech never received my TEAS score even though it was in fact sent. When I applied I attached the results along with ALL the other supporting documents, like a diploma, the Career Talk results, etc. I read that last year someone didn't get in because their scores were never sent and they were unaware.
