I am 2 weeks away from finishing the 1st Level. I love it. It is very fast paced. I am lucky to not have to work. I have a great support system. My husband is home with our son during the day while im at class. They have an October class starting up and then they will have another March class start when my class is finished.
Thanks for the response! Its been hard to find out much about the LPN programs. I went in last week for the interview and handed in my application for the October start date. The counselor said she would recommend me and they would let me know sometime this week if I was accepted. I am so glad to hear that it has worked out for you. I have been so frustrated over the UPMC St Margaret thing, I can't even tell you! I was also looking into to CCBC and PTI. I didn't see any other schools around. I know how important support is. My husband is good that way too. I haven't decided how much I will work. I am currently a CNA and kind of wanted to keep that going if I could for the experience
I looked into this program & I think it was around $12,000 or so. I had done a & p & I think nutrition so I wasn't going to have to pay the full amount. I ended up going to Ccbc which is slightly closer to me. I looked at pti and thought it was very nice but it seemed way expensive. I do know nurses that went there & aides currently going there that have been very happy with the program. Best of luck to you! :)
