Thanks, look forward to hearing from someone.:)

Hello

I noticed that u just started the LVN program...how is it so far?

Was it hard to get accepted into the program? How many people do they take? Sorry for all the questions, but I plan on attending in 09.

Hi, it is great so far. We move really fast and it is very interesting. The instructors are excellent and really care. I am not a good judge as far as hard to get into. I know you have to have A&P and a good score on the net test. You also have to meet the colleges' requirements as far as immunizations and deadlines for having in different forms. I would highly recommend this school.

Best of luck!

i graduated the program in Aug of 08 - let me know if there are any specific questions that you have that a recent student might be able to answer... I will do my best. Good luck!

Thanks, that is great to know. I took my first test yesterday and didn't pass. I received a 70%. :sniff: The test seemed like an easy test and I wasn't nervous. I really thought I had only missed the last question. Don't know what my problem is. I have had extremely hard a&p, micro, psychology tests and scored really well. Any thoughts?

Thanks

I graduated in 2005 - great program.

Hello, just wondering how you are progressing with LVN program at GCC. I am joining you in January. I was in RN program but had a back injury and had to withdraw this semester and will come into your program in January. Would that be the third semester for LVN? What text books do they require? I would appreciate any info on schedule and structure of class you could pass along. Thanks.

hey, sorry it's been so long. Have been really busy. We are in the second semester now. Just started hospital on Monday. We are having so many tests back to back and they are harder. That has gotten me really worried, and the fact that the instructor keeps telling us how so many people don't make it. What are your thought and rememberences of this? Thanks..
