I did the GCU RN-BSN program and graduated in May 2012. I found the program fast paced but manageable. I worked full time throughout the program. The only thing I didn't care for was the group projects - I had a few groups where members did not pull their weight. Good luck to you both!
Thank you and congratulations! What did you do when others didn't pull their weight? Was it always like that? I was hoping the further I got into the program there would be less slacking....
Direct feedback to the instructor about the slackers so that my grade wasn't affected by their performance. It did get better the farther along I went. I made some great friends and we just requested to be in the same group, and the professors usually allowed it. I am now going to UCCS in the MSN-FNP program, and really enjoying it!

Thank you! Did you have to make up the slacker's part? Also glad to hear you got into an MSN program, I was worried about acceptance for a master's program when attending for-profit or private schools as opposed to a state school.

Congratulations on your entering the MSN program! Speaking of the GCU RN BSN program, How instructors give grades overall, of course, it will depends on instructor, but wondering generally everybody gets good grade? I would like to study further after finishing this with GCU, like you. and good grades are important to get in a master's program, right?
