I have an interview August 5 for entrance into Grand Canyon University's online acute-care nurse practitioner program. Has anybody else interviewed for this program, started this program, or is planning on starting this program? Can you tell me about your experience with the program?

Depends on where you want to work. FNP's are trending towards working out in the community , like family practice doctors offices and clinics. ACNp's, are designed to work in the hospitals in an acute care. What do you want to do?

I need help! I was accepted to the ACNP program and was confused as to the length. The program takes 36 months? Is this year round, including summer classes, how much of a workload is there. Also what is the rationale for the program being 36 months with only 40 percent of graduates finishing in that time is that a true statistic?

Thanks

Have you been accepted into the May 1 or August? I am under the impression that it is year round without breaks. I am unclear about all the details also. How long was the admission process? I have submitted all the first paper work and am waiting to hear about the interview.

It is year-round. Each class is 8 to 12 weeks depending on which class it is. I don't think we're allowed to double up on classes like I did back in the BSN portion, but I haven't asked. The entire program will take three years full-time.

Hi mschelee i have been accepted for ACNP at GCU starting may 1st. Am worried about the duration of the program. Is this the same as AG-ACNP? OR NOT. How is the program so far. Do you have any regret. if you have a second chance will you go into this program?

HI PLEASE can you give me your contact

Hello 1HOT911DR,

I am thinking to apply for AG-ACNP in GCU online. Would be very helpful to know your online learning experience. What do they ask for interview? I live in Houston.

Am presently in the program taking my 3rd class. Is been wonderful experience. I got my BSN there. I have learned a lot just being on my 3rd class. I will highly recommend the school to anyone

Thank you, daniel444 for the reply. How was the interview process? I have just applied. waiting for the call back from them. Hope I get accepted.
