Graduation, Fast approaching!!

Nursing Students General Students

Geez guys, I graduate in 2 weeks....!

I just found out yesterday that I would in fact graduate. I sorta had a "melt-down" last week and graduation was really in doubt. I went home and prayed and got it together tho, well enough that my clinical instuctor asked me why I was doing so much better. I told her that I asked Jesus to be my "beta-blocker" and He was doing a good job! So I did well enough that she is passing me!! Yeah!!!!

Now, I'm getting scared...Do they really just "feed new nurses to the wolves" so to speak? Someone please tell me that I will have a mentor or something. Does anyone else feel this way? What if I "over-look" or just flatout miss something? Nursing school is one thing, being a "real, grown-up" nurse is something else entirely.

HELP!!!

Congratulations!

You will go through orientation and I am sure you will have a mentor. There is a boad called the first year of nursing at allnurses, I am sure there are many people in your situation.

Good luck on your NCLEX.
