I graduated from a non-accredited BSN program in FL. I know, I know, but it is too late now. I spoke with a local university's advisory department over-the-phone. I was advised since I received my LPN from an accredited program, that I attend an LPN to RN bridge program. From there, I could attend an RN to MSN program from the same university or any accredited university in the state. I explained that I obtained a BA in a different specialty already from a (SACS) school, why could I not apply to the RN with Non-Nursing Bachelors to the MSN program. I was told because the RN program was not accredited, it was not possible. Is there any other way? Are there any CCNE universities in FL that accept students on probation because of non-accredited RN program and have a good or at least decent reputation for FNP? I prefer not to attend an online or out-of-state if that is an option. Any help or direction would be grateful...
