Graduate in OH in May, moving to SC- HELP, what can I do now?

Hello I'm going to graduate with my BSN degree here in Ohio in May. My boyfriend and I are visiting South Carolina in one week: Charleston area and Columbia area. does anyone here have any advice to give me when it comes to how to apply now? Well not quite Pply just make myself known, I was thinking a out contacting a few of the hospitals that I am interested in and talking to floor managers or the HR. I figure it will be hard for me to just apply and easily get in freshly moving in may once I graduate.What advice can you RNs give me in regards to what I should do when I visit for this short week in dec?? Thinking of leaving a resume too. Please let me know, I feel like when we move to SC in may I will be a lost puppy when it comes to finding a job

I live in Myrtle Beach and am trying to relocate to Charleston myself. I have applied to almost every hospital in Charleston and followed that up with visits to HR and phone calls...since September. I can tell you no one really takes paper resumes, everything is online. I have been an RN for three years and have had zero luck. It is so frustrating. Even in my area, there are jobs, but so many nurses apply for one position. I have seen that Columbia has many positions open. My advice is to start now, because it may take a while. MUSC has new grad positions open all the time, usually in peds. I don't mean to bum you out, just trying to help from my own experiences! Best of luck!
