    Pregnant and just lost job!

That happened to me in a way. I was on maternity leave and when I called to say my dr had released me, I was informed they couldn't hold my position and they didn't have any need for another nurse (meaning me). It sucks and I'm sorry to hear another hardworking nurse has been pushed over. I hope things get better :)
  2. I live in Myrtle Beach and am trying to relocate to Charleston myself. I have applied to almost every hospital in Charleston and followed that up with visits to HR and phone calls...since September. I can tell you no one really takes paper resumes, everything is online. I have been an RN for three years and have had zero luck. It is so frustrating. Even in my area, there are jobs, but so many nurses apply for one position. I have seen that Columbia has many positions open. My advice is to start now, because it may take a while. MUSC has new grad positions open all the time, usually in peds. I don't mean to bum you out, just trying to help from my own experiences! Best of luck!
