Students have a better chance of passing the NCLEX the closer they graduated from school. If you trained out of the US, you have to apply as a foreign graduate. Some states require you to pass you local test first which would be in your homeland.
The quicker you take the NCLEX the chances of passing are higher.
Why not work in a hospital as ward secertary, you will get access to many of the systems you will need as a nurse?
You may want to ask some of your questions to Suzanne, who is an expert in these situations.
