Graduate level classes to boost gpa

All,

I'm looking at taking some MSN level graduate classes as a non-degree seeking student prior to enrolling in an FNP program to boost my gpa a bit before I apply. (I found a state school that will let me enroll as a non-degree seeking student due to my current military status)

Should I wait to take classes such as Advanced Patho, Pharm, etc once I'm enrolled full-time in a program? I feel these classes are part of the foundation of a program and would be beneficial in taking that institution's version, instead of transferring the class in from another institution.

In lieu of the more "Science-y" classes I was thinking about taking the Nursing Ethics, Theory, Research, etc.

Thoughts?

I would wait. Its not a guarantee that the school you apply to will take credits from another school and you may wind up repeating courses.

Thanks Heabit, I'm inclined to agree, especially with the Advanced Patho, dont want to suffer through that twice. I'm leaning more towards taking either Theory/Research/Ethics mainly as a gpa booster before I apply.
