Grad school supplies

This may be an odd questions but...

I'm looking to buy a printer for grad school. It is a distance/block learning format program. Would I be wrong to expect that I will almost never need to print in color? Will a monochrome printer suit my needs just fine?

Thanks!

Can't speak to the color question, but I really love my Brother duplex printer. It has worked flawlessly for 3 years and was so helpful during my BS education.

Here's an off-the-wall piece of information that may inform your decision. This expense may be tax deductible - if you're pursuing your MSN as part of your professional career development. Check with your tax expert to see if it's applicable for your situation. I was audited for the year in which I did most of my MSN. The auditor 'allowed' purchase of a high quality printer & laptop because I provided program information that supported the claims. If you're doing everything online, a printer may be iffy... but there may be other expenses you could claim
