I have heard the rumors as well. I wish they would start the process by Fall 2014 since that is when I am applying.

I'm applying to begin 2014 as well :)

Yeah, I am hoping it goes through because I'm also on track to begin nursing school in Fall '14. Woohoo! :)

Are you guys taking your prereqs at GPC now? I am doing mine at the Decatur Campus this semester and in the Spring.

Yes I'm currently finishing up chemistry at clarkston w some online classes and am registered for a&p 1 next semester at dunwoody. It seems SOOOO far away but I'm certain it will be here before we know it!

I am finishing up a &p 1 now and I am taking a&p 2 and human growth and development next semester. It will be here before you know. Just think, its November already!

I have to wait until summer '13 to start my first pre-req (chem 1151)... sigh... but I'm still pretty excited!

I've been at GPC for a couple of years (not a nursing student, just taking all the core classes for a BSN and Social Work degree). I heard from a couple of friends in their nursing program that their BSN program was approved by the Board of Regents, but due to the big budget crisis GPC had earlier this year it's being put off for a while. Don't know how true it is, just what I heard.

Awww man! Thank you for the information. I am going to still apply to them and try some BSN program as well.
