I have a question about my overall GPA. It is 3.869. Is this considered an 'A' or a 'B'? Is a 4.0 the only 'A'?
Do you know if schools round up-like to 3.9-or is it taken as a 3.8?

The schools that do +/- give an -A a 3.7. So it stands to reason that anything over a 3.7 is an A.

It's more of an A than it is a B... a 3.8 is nowhere close to a B O_O...

My school rounds up, so you would have a 3.9. Even if your school doesn't round up, both a 3.8 and a 3.9 are considered As.
Thanks for the replies! I'm not sure how I thought the grading scale worked, but it makes much more sense now. I'm going to post another question about a scholarship which is why I was asking about the GPA.
