GPA Question

Hello -

I am new to this website and love it so far. I do have a quick question regarding my GPA. I just finished a summer course in Chemistry and got an 87. Does my grade show up as a B regardless if it was a high B or a low B? Will it effect my GPA if it was high B as opposed to a low B?

I think it depends on your school. Every school I have gone to a B was a B. But, I have a friend who's school had B+, B, or B- which all carried different grade points.

It depends on your school and whether they are straight scale (A, B, etc) or whether they give +/- grades. If you do not know, you could always either check your student handbook (it should be in there), your course syllabus or call the registrars office.
