Hello,

Thanks to this forum for allowing me to vent my concerns and questions throughout the last week plus. :)

So far so good with my application packet. Apparently there was indeed a reason for the route my recruiter chose to go with my application and I am staying with him to continue proceeding with it.

I need two waivers and he is presenting my package to go for it. Hopefully I will indeed be able to access,(sp) in as a 40 yo Nurse Candidate.

Meanhwile, I am still looking at my base preferences. :) I know that is what brought me here.

My # 1 is MAMC in Fort Lewis WA, which is a regional center

#2 Walter Reed in Washington D.C. which is also a regional center and

#3 Fort Wainwright in Alaska, not a regional center

Corvette guy, I haven't pm'd you yet because I am so early in the stage but FT Lewis is my strongest hope, FT Wainwright is actually my number two but, I am listing it third because if I am lucky enough to get it the timing might be really bad for driving or shipping my cats there. It would be December!

My first day of my last academic year starts this upcoming Monday and I am pretty darn excited, nervous but, excited.

Thank you JaxiaKiley,

I hope this works out!

Gen-hoping to start a thread titled something like..."I'M IN!" sometime soon

I hope all works out -= Good luck! By the way I am currently in Anchorage and driving the Alaskan Highway in December is not a bad thing. The ice fills in all the potholes. :-)

Hello,

Thank you for the well wishes!

FT WW has moved up to my number one position.

I am not superstitious but, last night I had a dream that pretty much knocked FT Lewis right OFF my list, surprisingly. So, Now my choices look like

1-FT WW

2-Walter Reed D.C.

3-not sure!

Specializes in Telemetry, OR, ICU.

LOL, I work at Madigan Army Medical Center [iCU East], FT Lewis, and have not had any nightmares.

Its crazy Corvette Guy, it wasn't necessarily a nightmare but, a dream, where I was reading a posted sign that basically told me to NOT choose FT Lewis.

That was my absolute number one choice! I am hoping that they will give it to me anyhow but, since the "news" I read in this dream of mine outright told me not to, well, cough, it may be crazy but, I am going to follow the fine sleep induced print.

I ought to be embarassed by admitting it!
