According to the Kaplan site, if you go to 265 that means you're basically riding the passing line and it's dependent on your last question. If it's an above competency question you pass regardless if you answer right or wrong, and if it's a below competency, you fail, regardless if you get it right or wrong. Wish I had known this! I can't remember my last question! Are you going to be able to get quick results tomorrow?

Hello everyone,
I told myself if I passed NCLEX first try- I would write on here what I did that helped!
First, I used Kaplan course (huge Qbank that really helped!); scored a 64 on readiness but was scoring anywhere between 50-60 for all the 75 question Qbank exams I took- even some 40's! Don't get discouraged!!
UWorld- helped SO much, so worth it! Used almost the whole Qbank in this!
I studied for 1 month, about 6 hours a day and really tried to focus during that time- using both Kaplan and Uworld, reading EVERY answer, whether or not I got it right- this is content review... really helps!
I got 265 questions.... if this happens, DON'T give up!!! Breathe, PRAY (lots, helped me) and take breaks! I walked out of there feeling horrible and like I didn't pass- everyone feels this way!! I did not try the trick (Pearson), I waited it out and found out at 7:30 am that I passed! Don't feel discouraged!!!

I took my NCLEX in May of 2018, had all 265 questions. Left heartbroken thinking I failed, just because of the number of questions. Turns out I passed! I also did the pearson view trick and got the good popup the morning after my exam. Quick results were available to me for $7.95 shy of 48 hours after I started the exam.
I had my NC license all completed and active on the BON within 5 days (two being weekend days).
Good luck to all you testers, and keep your head up if you get 265 questions, passing if very possible!
