Hey everyone!! I just wanted to say that after precepting in SICU, and loving it, graduating nursing school, and taking and passing boards on the first try..i am now a new Grad ICU nurse!!!The unit is an 8 bed MICU unit that closely resembles the SICU i am famililar with. The people there are great, and i am excited to begin (on March 9). I will be on night shift after 6 weeks of orientation on days. yay me!! So, all you seasoned nurses out there...any advice for a new grad starting off in the ICU??:yeah::D:D:D:yeah::yeah:

Wanting to get my CCRN is part of why i wanted ICU so badly. Can you give me some pointers in regard to that? Also, i want to subscribe to nursing journals, but need a little advice as to which is best for my money. I am going to order the Pass CCRN book, but the Laura Gasparinos one that everyone keeps talking about..i cant find it anywhere!! I have checked ebay and amazon, and both say they are not available..any ideas??
