Care Partners are members of a discipline that combines the quality of caring with technical interventions, communication, and knowledge integration to support the nurse in the delivery of quality client care in an acute care setting. They help patients with daily living activities such as bathing and eating. Care Partners also take vital signs, draw blood specimens, perform wound care and dressing changes, insert urinary catheters, perform EKGs, and other selected medical test/procedures. (I copied the info from their site lol)
So I might just wait to take a phlebotomy course because of what this program entails.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to share the great news. I went for an interview the other day for Sentara hospital as a CNA and I got in. The great thing about this is I'm hoping to get into their BSN program also. If I do get in the hospital will help me pay for my tuition. I'm so excited!
