A few post back, I stated that I was working in a LTC setting and I really disliked it. A few days ago I was able to get a cna job at a hospital. I must say I love it. It is a much diff setting. More profesional with nurses and other cna's. No working with cna's with eye brow bars, tatoos on the sides of their faces and everyone speeks english and not getto. Pay is not that great but I can over look that part as the bennys are not that bad.
If you can get a hospital job do it. Oh and if I offend anyone about the face tat's, eye brow bars or speaking getto. Well...
From going from LTC to the hospital was a culture shock. It was weird seeing LPNs at the hospital I was at anyway, being my peer and not my supervisor. Hospital was busy, But I believe alot easier then LTC..IMO anyway
