Gordon State College- Spring 2014

U.S.A. Georgia

I am turning in my application packet soon for the bridge programnext spring. Good luck to anyone else who is applying.

I was just thinking that I am going out of town from Aug 23rd to Sept 1. Does anyone know if they schedule the critical thinking test during that time will they allow me to reschedule it? Also as this is my first time applying at this college does everyone get a date for the critical thinking test?

From my experience, you can't reschedule. Only the people that met the minimum requirements get a test date. Nursing programs are always changing so you might want to double check.

in the letter I received last spring you had to call ahead of time but you only had the option of the two days they were testing, I'm just patiently waiting though and praying that this is the time God has for me, it was heartbreaking getting the letter last year so heartbreaking I took a year off and just now started applying again, but if it is to be so God will make it so. Praying for us all to get acceptance letters and that October hurries up, lol

I guess their not going to mail out the critical thinking test dares until the application deadline

I am praying too!!! and as you said, God has a plan and if we are suppose to make it we will!

Just to let y'all know that for the spring cohorts. When they say Oct 31st or later they mean it. When I was accepted it was to the day. :( Hang in there everyone, the wait is worth it. I'm about to begin my last semester and the time flys by!

Hey I am also applying for spring semester what was ur gpa when u were accepted ?

Ok so was that your overall or just your math/science?

Overall I believe. It doesn't really matter what your GPA is as long as it is above 3.0 and you do good on the teas test. The critical thinking one is important too. Thats how they weed out the applicants. Having your core completed is also a big factor.

Oh ok so do you know of anyone who got into the program with a gpa below a 3.0?

Well the minimum requirement is a 2.5 so I would think there would be some ppl accepted. I personally don't know of anyone though. Most of the people in my cohort are 3.5 and above students.
