U.S.A. Georgia

Just wanted to start a thread for those who have applied to Gordon's BSN program for Fall 2017.

I applied for the initial deadline - I think it was May 31st, and took the Kaplan test last week. Would love to hear from others who have applied so we can support each other as we wait for acceptance letters!

Congratulations!!!! That's soo great ! And no nothing came from them to me today !!

Yes. I received mine!

Hello everyone,

I currently just received my acceptance letter for the BSN program but I have to take the dosage and calculations test and pass it before I can fully get accepted. Could anyone inform me on the best book to get to study for this test? Also if you have been in the BSN program at Gordon, what was your experience like?

According to the admissions letter, it looks like we can purchase an account on safemedicate.net and study through that program. For the study option suggested by the letter it is $55. I will probably use this to study since it is recommended.

And I believe this Fall will be the first class of the BSN program at Gordon. They have previously only offered ASN - which has a reputation for being tough, but prepares you well.

I received my acceptance letter! Yay! Congratulations everyone!

I just received my acceptance letter!! Congratulations to everyone.

Hello everyone. I'm new to this site. You all have great Kaplan scores. Will you please share what study guide/tip you used to help you achieve the high scores? I'm not to familiar with the Kaplan exam and what it consist of. I will be taking the test soon at Gordon.

The math, English, and writing are similar to the SAT/ACT but the Science was horrible for me. Know your cardiac and respiratory systems!

Thank you so much for responding. Did you get accepted with your Kaplan score?

Yes I did, however I know not a lot of people applied to this coming up semester, so I'd try to get in the high 80s to improve your chances.

Thanks for the tips. I pass, however, it was not in the 80s, lol. Do you know how many spots they have for the Asn program?
