Im having a terrible time waiting for my letter of decision from GC. I pretty much stalk the mail man..and it is not even eight weeks :uhoh3:..I am looking for friends along this waiting process..has anyone heard anything about when the letters will go out?.. 8 weeks like the website says.. or will they take longer possibly until Oct. 30??.. I have heard that some people have already gotten denial letters. Do they send them out first? Soo ready to just have the letter in my hand so i can stop living in limbo. Anyone having this problem? :banghead:

I got section A!! Maybe we'll all have to meet up sometime to put faces with names!! Does anyone know when we should get orientation letters or anything?

I got Section A as well! Yay!

So which books do we all need?

Anyone know how to find out if we can waive the insurance.. $620 bucks does not look good on my account.. :(

Once we get our packet there should be a form in there to waive the fee once you provide proof that you have private insurance.

You can do it online through the link on the nursing page. You just have to enter your insurance info.

cool. so i've come to realize that these book are really really thick and heavy. I'm thinking about splitting up some of the more massive books into chapters and having them rebound. Has anyone done this with any of their books? I found a few ppl on allnurses that have... It seems like a good idea but idk. any insight? ( I do not want to get a rolling bookbag, i can't pull it off.. lol )

Are you talking about ripping them up and duct taping them back together? I was kinda looking forward to getting a little red wagon to pull my books around on.

Lol im talking about taking them to kinkos and having them put the chapters into individual spiral bound little packets

Thats not as fun as DIY rebinding but I do agree the rolling bookbag is not that cool especially if you are trying to be sneaky.

They are def not cool lol...but its between being hunchback or looking like a dork

Or a dorky hunchback with a rolling bookbag?
