  1. I got a letter in the mail today saying that I've been accepted!!!!!! Now I have to decide between schools!!!
  2. Mine still says ready for review. I really hope that we find out something soon. Does anyone know what they were looking for as far as volunteer hours? I've worked part time all through school so I wasn't exactly able to volunteer very much.
  3. GCSU has a fully online rn-bsn program also.
  4. Is anyone else taking the CPR class on Saturday the 10th?
  5. Is anyone taking any other classes along with the nursing ones to get 12 hours?
  6. They are incredibly competetive. I applied & didn't get in. My GPA was a 3.4 & my TEAS was a 75 (terrible I know) But according to my advisor the avg GPA was a 3.5, TEAS was an 85 & the avg SAT score was about 1150 (math & critical reading combined) My GPA & SAT was about average but the TEAS killed me.
  7. I got section A!! Maybe we'll all have to meet up sometime to put faces with names!! Does anyone know when we should get orientation letters or anything?
  8. Lee, Durojaiye, & Jen are the only ones teaching it this Spring. Hopefully Coulson will teach it in the Summer. For some reason it wont let me register for Intro to Nursing but I can register for Pharmacology. I emailed my advisor but I hope she figures it out ASAP. I really need section A.
  9. Hey so I got accepted into the program without having taken A&P 2. I talked to my advisor (A. Helvig) & she said that I'll be fine in the program with out it as long as I take it over the Summer. But Dr. Lee said I should take it in the spring with all of the nursing courses. What do you guys think because I'm worried it will be too much.
  10. I attended GCSU my first year of school & transferred to Macon State because of a money issue. I'm actually getting ready to apply to go back. that being said, GCSU has a straight through BSN program, which means that once you apply for the program (granted you've finished your core, done well on the SAT, TEAS & have a stellar GPA) you will be admitted to the program. Once you are admitted to the program it will take 4 semesters. (2 years) to get your bachelors of science in nursing. This also gives you an RN IF you pass the NCLEX. GCSU has an amazing program & it is incredibly tough to get into. If you don't get into the fall semester then definitely apply for Spring. BUT also look at the website for all of the core that they require. Because it is a liberal arts school they require core that no other school even offers.
  11. Hey guys, I just applied a few weeks ago & they've recieved all of my information. I'm really worried that I won't get in because I don't have much volunteer experience, but I have worked in a chiropractor's office part time for nearly 5 years. My current gpa is a 3.59 & I made a 620 on the Critical Reading portion of the SAT. Also, I didn't realize that they even looked at the TEAS because nothing on their website says anything about it. I took it anyway for other schools but I did terrible. (75 ) Does anyone know what else they want?
