I wanted to make this for everyone applying this Spring! I attached the point guide to the post!


I just submitted my application and am waiting to sign up for my TEAS. What is everyone using to prepare? I have very bad test anxiety and horrible ADHD but have managed to make it this far with decent grades. What do you guys have for points? GPA’s? I’m really intimidated by the point system because I didn’t transfer in with 60+ credits! I read through some of the old posts for applicants and I’ve seen people being accepted with points as low as 15 so I’m crossing my fingers.

Hey everyone:) 

So I got my acceptance letter last night and I’ll tell you my points Etc:

I applied with 14 points (and GOT IN) 

GPA: 3.93

TEAS: 76.8

I emailed them explaining my situation with the job and how I really need to know before the 23rd and how my address has changed and I’m worried they sent it to the wrong address (they did by the way LOL) and she let me know that I was accepted into the Spring 2021 semester! I’ll get my packet later than you guys will because it’s gonna be rerouted to my new address. I want the physical packet so bad! Ugh! I had 15 points so the cut off this semester must have been 14!

I bet a lot of you get it today or tomorrow! I’m surprised I got mine last night! 
14 May or may not be the cut off. It may be lower I don’t know...? I just know that’s the number of points I had:) 

I think we’re all getting in!

I know I’m not getting in with 12 points, but is it bad that if I do get in it’s gonna make me reconsider relocating back to Florida in June/July? I mean, there’s programs down there I have on a list to apply to, and will be able to buy a home by this time next year, but it feels like I’m putting off and sacrificing one dream for another...

OMG YAY! Congrats! Don’t you feel a weight lifted?! I’m psyched and scared at the same time LOL! We are all soon to be BFF’s ?. I got to figure out what to do with my child! LOL. We have time!;)

HARD WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK! I don’t know your entire situation...but I would just bang it out up here then go live a comfortable life in FL!!

That’s all life is, sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice until you get to where you need to be. You go with your gut! If there’s anything I’ve learned it’s to listen to your gut and follow your intuition. Stay positive and if you’re anxious over it I would make like a chart with the pros and cons of each possible situation! No matter what happens big things will be happening because home buying and relocating is EXCITING and so is Nursing school! And nursing school will always be here!!

Does anyone know if the envelopes come addressed as "Goodwin College". Also, is it true the denial is a letter size and acceptance is a packet?

Yes, from what I've heard the denial is a standard envelope and the acceptance letter arrives in a larger packet. Still nothing from Goodwin arrived in the mail today! Waiting is giving me so much anxiety ?

Me too! I only have 12 points and also just waiting for a denial letter at this point. I just need closure so I can start planning my next chapter ??
