Goodwin University Fall 2020

Hi everyone! Hope you are all safe during this pandemic! I noticed that there has not yet been a thread started on here about the FALL 2020 ASN program at Goodwin so I though I would start one. I am in my 6th trimester at Goodwin and am applying for the first time into the program.

I currently have 61 credits (2pts.), 7 classes at Goodwin (7pts.), and a GPA of 2.99 (1pt) and am taking the TEAS on 5/30.

To everyone,

If you havent gotten a letter yet call Goodwin. I just found out that I scored a 19 and shouldve been accepted. Someone made an error and the spots are filled so even though I should be going in the fall I got pushed to the front of the line for the Spring. Just make sure the same didn't happen to you and there are no mistakes.

I've also been placed on a waiting for the fall in case someone drops out.

How did you find this out? I just put my application in for Spring 2021 and am waiting to register for my TEAS. I’m horrified something like this might happen to me!

The same exact thing happened to me! I also had 19 points, but they forgot to enter my name into a spreadsheet. The whole situation is completely frustrating ... hopefully some spaces open up.. I’m keeping my fingers crossed! ??????

Did they send you an acceptance letter for the Spring? I got one. Make sure you call one and get one if you didn't get one yet. Make sure it doesnt happen again.

No, I haven’t received anything from the school yet. When did you get yours? If it doesn’t come in the mail tomorrow morning I will definitely call them. I do not want to go through all this again!

I called and told them to send me one saying I was accepted so I had proof if they did this again in the Spring.
