Goodwin Summer 2022

Hi, just looking to see if anyone else has applied to Goodwin for their nursing program this Summer? I applied for the Spring start and didn't have enough points so I'm back at it again with an extra point this time and hoping for the best. 

Woooow I don’t even know who to trust there with all this different information.

How do they decide only to accept a handful of 16s? How do they pick which ones? 
Is that by this applications point system or next? Cause I’m pretty they made a tiny change to the Fall application. When I went back to do my points, I had one more. But maybe I was just wrong ?

They will Probably go by whatever 16s had the highest GPA, I looked over the fall application in case I’m rejected LOL and it did say to email them again at least LOL

Are you a 16 also?  Shoot until we get letters saying otherwise let’s just think positive ?

Wait, you were a 17? So you are most likely safe and will be accepted?

When I called and asked if they go by GPA or classes first the woman said she thought they go by how many Goodwin classes you have which is frustrating for me, I worked so hard to get a 4.0. Coming from having my Bachelor’s I already had like all the courses ?

That’s interesting… and weird… other universities go by your GPA and your science grades/TEAS etc…as much as I want to finish my degree at Goodwin I’m getting too old to wait forever so I’m just hoping I get accepted SOMEWHERE at this point LOL

I’m hoping they go by GPA, but with all the information I’m just not feeling too confident anymore and I feel used for money.

Guys who knows if that is even the right information, when I first applied to Goodwin they told me I need to aim for 16 points and that's pretty safe, my advisor told me the last three terms they accepted some 15s I think they just tell people where they would be safest at getting in which is around 16-17 points. I still feel like my application got lost that's my biggest concern LOL. When I first applied to Goodwin about 2 years ago one person told me around 600 people apply each term for nursing and another told me around 300. Most of these people have no idea what they're talking about and just give a response to make it seem like they know the answer when they don't. Overall very annoying, I trust none of them at this point.

All this stress on top of having 2 exams and a lab practical this coming week got me ?

It makes it hard to focus on anything and for me hard to stay motivated.. my mail was just delivered and nothing today
